It is important to make the research work visible and discoverable by other researchers, thereby increasing the citations, networking, collaborations and ultimately creating an impact. Library team makes every effort to work closely with faculty and researchers at the Institute and extends its expertise and support in following ways.

• Assists in creating and keeping updated the author IDs and profiles on platforms such as ORCiD, Publons, IRINS, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic and other similar ones.
• Promotes and assists in using Academic Social Networks such as LinkedIn, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Mendeley and others.
• Works closely with Scopus, Web of Science, and similar other database publishers to ensure that the Institute research publications are indexed in these databases.
• Maintains an updated list of Research Publications, Digital Repository and shares the weekly list of Research Publications of the Institute.
• Ensures that metadata of the research publications is indexed by various repositories, scholarly search engines, directory of repositories and other such sources.
• Periodically alerts researchers to check and ensure that their publications correctly tagged against their Scopus ID, Researcher ID (Publons), Google Scholar ID and others.
