Library offers the following need-based opportunities to interested candidates to who meet the stipulated requirements.

• Library Professional Internships: Fresh Library Science graduates are given the opportunity to work with the Library, and learn on the job.
  • Lib-TAN: The Alumni Association of all past trainees of IIT Gandhinagar Library.
  
  
• Library Internship (as part of Course requirement): As a part of the course requirement, students of Library and Information Science gets acquainted with the workflow of our library for a few weeks.
  
  
• Summer Research Internships Program (Institute): As a part of Summer Research Intership Program (SRIP), Library appoints people with technical background to assist in various projects with the Library.
  
  
• On Campus Employment Opportunities (Institute): The IITGn Students can work in the oCEO opportunities and collaborate with Library for developing various Library services.
  
  
• Social Service (Institute): Students get an opportunity to work in the Library for a stipulated period of time.
